REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR OUR GRADING DAY SESSIONS

As a graded club, our aim is to form teams that have a balanced group of players of similar ability levels across all playing positions.

ATTENDANCE IS COMPULSORY FOR ALL JUNIOR 11U - 17U PLAYERS INTENDING TO REGISTER FOR 2024
(OPEN not required to attend)

GRADING GAMES

Each player will be allocated games based on their position preferences listed in their trial registration. We do our best to space games out for players evenly across the session however due to numbers and positions this may not always be possible. 

Players may play back to back games or wait a few matches before they get back on. We endeavour to ensure all players receive a similar number of games. 

Players may play a position that is not their preferred one, our selectors will be aware of this and this will not disadvantage them at all. 

PARENT TIPS

Grading can be daunting for some players (& parents), however we respectfully ask that parents do not ‘coach’ their child from the sideline

Try to help your child make grading day a positive experience. Some children worry about the process and find it stressful, while others take to it like ducks to water. Encourage them to do their best. 

Remind them that they are there to enjoy their netball and develop as a player in which ever team they are placed.

Everyone should remember that that there is a number of factors taken in to account, it doesn't all start and finish on grading day. We have a thorough grading process which we believe gives every player the best opportunity to display their skills, be assessed and subsequently be placed in a team that will facilitate the growth and development of all of our wonderful players.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Wear white T-Shirt and dark skort/shorts or 3/4 leggings. No Full length leggings as we need to place a number on your lower leg.
Bring a full water bottle and come with short nails and all jewellery removed. Arrive with plenty of time to register.
